A former presidential candidate, Mr. Pat Utomi has blamed the lack of progress in the battle against Nigeria’s security problems on the criticisms being traded between stakeholders.
While sharing his concerns about the security issues, in an interview with Channels Television, he pointed out the constant criticism that has continued to trail the current security challenges in the country.
He added that Nigerians and security analysts need to take a cue from the international community, which he says seems to be more interested in helping Nigeria find a lasting solution to the problem.
He went further to warn that the future of the country is at stake if the challenges aren’t handled properly. “If they (the challenged that face us) are not well managed, the great promise of Nigeria will be lost.” He said.
“How can we solve the problem?” He asked; stating that Nigerians need to ask themselves the question.
