The International Community of the Red Cross (ICRC) has appealed for all options to be explored in restoring peace and security to the northern parts of the country.
Head of the ICRC delegation in Nigeria, Mr. Zoran Jovanovic said any move to alleviate the suffering brought about by conflicts upon innocent people is welcome.
He made this known while speaking at the commemoration of the 150 years anniversary of the ICRC and its humanitarian service.
Mr. Jovanovic responded to questions from journalists about the federal government’s amnesty initiative and how the Red Cross has impacted on the lives of victims of Nigeria’s terrorism attacks.
