Coach Jupp Heynckes says Bayern Munich’s preparation for the final of the UEFA Champions League in London has hit the high as the team is focusing on perfecting their well-oiled strategy.

In an all-German affairs come the 25th of May, Bayern will be looking to lift the trophy at the expense of German rivals Borussia Dortmund in Wembley stadium.

Heynckes said during a news conference that the next days of training, Bayern will look at everything that is needing check for their game, and what is needed to win at Wembley as his team has achieved so much so far.

Bayern are looking to win the treble this season, having already clinched the Bundesliga title and are also aiming for victory in the German Cup final on June 1.

Heynckes assured that nothing would stand in the way of his players’ attempt to win the Champions League trophy.

“Nothing will put us off because we have a very clear goal – to win the cup and we won’t allow ourselves to be distracted from this. This year the team has been so focussed on success, programmed in this way, to an extent which I have never before experienced as a trainer or as player,”.

The Bavarians, who lost the 2010 final to Inter Milan and the 2012 edition in dramatic fashion in their own stadium in Munich to Chelsea on penalties, are going into the game as favourites but midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger said they would not let this go to their heads.
