Raha Mojarrak has put her name and that of her country in the books of history as she becomes the first Saudi Arabian woman to scale the hurdles of the summit of the Everest, that is standing atop the world highest peak, a feat the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should be proudly given the unsupportive nature of the kingdom to women in sports.

The graduate of Universtiy of Sharjah in the UAE had to undergo severe training, a training which she started in the month of April.

Delighted that she has achieved her aim, tired and exhausted Raha reached her family to give the news as she couldn’t hide her happiness as it was not an easy task to achieve as her ambition of climbing the seven highest peaks in the world has been completed with the 27 year old scaling mountains in Europe, Tanzania, the South Pole and Argentina.
