A public affairs analyst, Phrank Shuaibu, commenting on the political crisis in Rivers State says the situation is such that some persons around the corridors of power believe that any particular position taken means aligning with the opposition.
Mr. Shuaibu who was on Channels Television breakfast show, Sunrise Daily, maintains that the major players – Governor Rotimi Amaechi and President Goodluck Jonathan – have not come out to say there is crisis.
He, however, points out that Governor Amaechi should not have a problem with the President contesting in 2015, maintaining that the Niger Delta cannot afford another round of crisis.
