An Educationist Prof. Abiola Awosika – Fapetu has said that some states in Nigeria are working on the standard of education in the primary and secondary level.
Speaking on Channels Television Saturday breakfast show Sunrise, Prof Abiola disclosed some of these states Lagos, Ondo, Osun she said these states are putting a lot of efforts in primary and tertiary education in Nigeria.
Prof. Abiola said that the educational level in Nigeria is still struggling with reading and writing arithmetic, the world is going “not just global but out of space”.
She added that we are now in the digital revolution and students are still struggling to learn how to speak and write well.
She advised that the government should focus on technology; she said “we can still participate in the digital revolution, we have to be aggressive if not we will be left behind again”.
