The Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole, has accused the federal government of withholding some of the funds belonging to the state.
According to him, since February 2013 about N1.8 billion belonging to Edo state has not been released by the federal government.
Mr Oshiomhole who was reacting to the refusal of the National Assembly to amend the 2013 budget proposed by the federal government appealed that what has been passed by the lawmakers ought to be properly released and distributed.
