President Goodluck Jonathan has challenged public officials to focus on fulfilling their promises of better living for Nigerians instead of being occupied with permutations for future elections.
In his Eid-el-fitri message to Nigerians contained in a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity, the president enjoined politicians to avoid overheating the polity with unnecessary ethnic and political intrigues.
Congratulating Muslims for successfully completing the month-long Ramadan fast, President Jonathan thanked them for responding to his call for special prayers for Nigeria during the Ramadan.
He added that his commitment to delivering on his promise of good governance and national transformation remains unwavering.
