Ahead of the November 16th governorship election in Anambra state, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated a screening committee with the aim of selecting its governorship candidate.
The acting national organizing secretary of the party, Mr Yusuf Abubakar who inaugurated the five-man committee headed by Ambassador Aminu Wali advised members of the committee to work towards selecting the best candidate for the election.
He restates the commitment of the ruling party to internal democracy saying a transparent selection process will boost the fortunes of the party at the polls.
