Their abduction yesterday is coming five days after three female teachers earlier kidnapped by gunmen regained freedom.
The teachers who are staff of public schools in the state were said to have been abducted at different locations on Sunday.
Edo State Chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Patrick Ikosimi, who confirmed the incident, said they were abducted at Oredo and Ikpoba- Okha local government areas respectively.
Ikosimi added that one of the teachers was kidnapped on her way from a church service while the other was abducted on her way to church.
He gave the names of one of the teachers as one Agbaka, the headmistress of Edion primary school, located off Sapele Road and Elebe P.O of Oyiosa primary school.
When contacted the Edo State Police Command spokesman, Moses Eguavoen said the command was yet to be briefed on the incident.
