The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) South West zone on Wednesday held a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan on how to stabilise the party in the zone and wrestle power from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, which held behind closed doors, lasted for several hours in the Presidential Villa.
Leader of the delegation and a member of the Board of Trustees of the party, Mr. Bode George told State House Correspondents after the meeting that there coming signals an end to the acrimony that existed in the party in that zone.
He further added that “this is the time to build on a solid foundation if the PDP must be seen to succeed in the next elections”.
