The National Chairman of the new PDP, Abubakar Baraje, says Mr Tukur has flouted court orders.
In a statement signed by the Secretary Mr Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the faction says “we will ask the court to commit him to jail for his disdain for the law and the judicial system.”
Mr Oyinlola said that Mr Tukur, by his utterances, is in clear contempt of the orders of the Lagos High Court which has asked both sides to maintain status quo.
The former governor of Osun state also said that Mr Tukur’s threat to sack elected federal lawmakers for aligning with the Baraje faction is baseless.
