Human rights lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, is back in his Igando residence in Lagos after being freed by his abductors.
During a press conference earlier today, Mr. Ozekhome thanked God for his freedom, saying he is happy to be re-united with his family.
Narrating his experience, the lawyer described his kidnappers as unemployed graduates who only wanted to use him as a medium to air their grievances on the state of the nation, hence the economic realities of most Nigerians.
He blamed politicians in power for using their offices to enrich their pockets and in the process, neglect the needs of those who put them in office.
The lawyer was kidnapped on the Auchi- Benin road two weeks ago.
Four policemen lost their lives trying to prevent his abduction.
