On Rubbin Minds this Sunday, Innocent Idibia a.k.a Tu Face, known as one of Nigeria’s music superstar transformed into a peacemaker. You ask  why?

Well, Tu Face hinted that issues of religious crisis to mention a few, has become something worrisome in the nation, Nigeria hence, his reason to spearhead a peace project themed ‘Build Peace, Secure Humanity”.

The ‘Ihe ne me’ crooner explained that, the peace project which will take him and some other protesters to the streets with the aim to promote peace within and around the nation, is a yearlong project.

“So many things have been going on, so many people have lost their lives, so many communities have been distabillised and all these are senseless, because the people that instigate most of these quarrels are never involved in the actual conflict, so it is the innocent people that suffer the most, when all these happen

“I was born in Jos and Jos used to be one of the loveliest places to be as a Nigerian, but as it is, many people are scared of going to Jos, all for one or two ethnic clashes, religious clashes, stuffs that don’t make sense”

He said Nigerians need to search themselves and reach out to people and start sensitizing people on these crises.

On why he decided to champion this peacemaking cause, he responded that his birth place (Jos) which is now one of the hardest hit crises zone in the country triggered him to begin the campaign for peace across the country.
