Addressing a news conference in Kano, the airline’s Public Relations Manager, Alh. Aminu Hamza said the aircraft lost its two main body tyres on landing but was able to pack safely.

A Boeng 747 jumbo jet with 400 passengers on board was reported to have taken-off from Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Friday night en route Sokoto to Jedda.

However, on reaching Sir Abukar III International Airport, Sokoto to pick some other passengers, the air craft lost two tyres after being exploded on the process of landing.
