Atlanta based Nigerian Afrosoul/folk singer and songwriter, Tosinger has released the official music video for her song ‘Ile’ (Home) featuring Ghanaian Poet Justice Boateng.

‘Ile’ which means ‘Home’ in her native Yoruba language (Nigeria, West Africa) is the latest single from her AfroSpire demo project.

‘Ile’ is a song with a basic message that is summed up in the saying ‘Home is where the heart is’; that is, after a day’s labor or journey, where there’s love/peace/harmony is where you return to. A place called ‘Home’. Sentimental and inspirational, ‘Ile’s vibe has a reggae swing, laced with prominent guitar licks and smooth vocals with a chorus in Yoruba, which all ring true to Tosinger’s African sound and style.

The AfroSpire Demo project follows her inspirational EP ‘Finally’ previously released January 2012 which is still available on iTunes and CdBaby.

Influenced by Miriam Makeba, Nina Simone and likely to be put in the same basket as Asa, India Arie, Dobet Ghanore et al;  her signature catchy Yoruba choruses always stand out in her unique soulful delivery.

Tosinger says of the ‘Ile’ song: “When people tell me how touched and inspired they are when they listen to the ‘Ile’ song, how what matters most in life – love, family, friends, heart, faith become more real to them, then I know the mission of my music is accomplished.”
