As part of efforts to win the November 16 Anambra state governorship election, the Ngige campaign organisation has inaugurated a 15 sub-committees to carry out special functions towards implementing the policies of the campaign organisation.
While addressing a gathering at the conference room within the office of the Ngige campaign organisation, the Senator charged members of the committee to discharge their duty with a sense of belonging.
The meeting was attended by members of the All Progressives Congress, drawn from the 21 local government areas of the state.
Also in attendance were top officials of the party, including the governorship candidate, Senator Chris Ngige and his running mate, Ralph Okeke.
Among the 15 committees are administration, finance, logistics and transport, media and publicity, security, and a special advisory committee headed by intending deputy, Okeke.
While congratulating members of the committees, Ngige warned against selfish interest, internal strife and complacency.
The functions of all the committees revolve around the sole mandate to propagate the party’s manifesto at grassroot levels.
Heads of directorates and members of the party at the state and national assembly will automatically serve as co-opted advisory members to each of the committees.
