British musician of Ghanaian descent, Fuse ODG, on Saturday won the coveted Best African Act title at the 2013 MOBO Awards, which held at The Hydrow, Glasgow in Scotland.

Fuse ODG who gained popularity in Nigeria for his dance anthem titled ‘Azonto,’ and his hit track, Antenna, beat other nominees in the category which included Nigerian stars, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince and Seun Kuti.

Other nominees in the category are Atumpan, Bombino, Liquideep, Mafikizolo, Spoek Mthambo.

Fuse also performed at the award ceremony which had several international stars in attendance. Among them are Tinie Tempah, Craig David, Iggy Azelea, Ashley Banjo.

The ceremony was hosted by Trevor Nelson.
