The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has announced the membership of the Governing Council for the State-owned Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu.

Professor Dipo Otolorin, a former Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, has been announced as Chairman.

A Statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, indicated that Professor Ademola Jaiyesimi, the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital and Dr. Adegboyega Ogunlesi, a former Chief Medical Director of the Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Aro Abeokuta, are also members.

Other members of the council include Dr. Babatunde Ipaye, Dr. Dapo Afonja, Dr. (Mrs.) Adeoluwa Sonola and Dr. Tunde Akinsola.

The statement added that the council would also be joined by representatives of the State Ministry of Health, Senate of the University, Provost of the College of Health Sciences of the University, Vice-Chancellor of the University and the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of OOUTH.

The new CMD, Prof. Jaiyesimi had once served as a member of the Governing Council and is a lecturer in the department of Medical Sciences of the University.
