To avoid a drift to political anarchy, the Department of State Security Service, has sent out a strong warning to all politicians in Nigeria, to desist henceforth from making provocative statements.

This warning is coming ahead of the 2015 general elections, following certain unguarded and offensive statements the DSS says is capable of stirring hatred among Nigerians.

The Deputy Director, Public Relations of the DSS, Ms. Marilyn Ogar, warned that the DSS would not take lightly any such statements considered to be divisive.

According to her; “we therefore warn all subversive elements that are bent on promoting divisive and destructive agenda to desist from such, as the full weight of the law shall henceforth be brought to bear accordingly.”

She called on Nigerians to remain law abiding, and assist security agencies in ensuring a safe society for all.
