A Writer, Tolu Ogunlesi, has called on the government, Nigerians, public and private sectors to come together and discuss about the economic factors affecting the country.

He stated that the growth of the economy is being questioned by Nigerians stating that the statistics of unemployment is about 54% which he said is high.

Speaking on Channels Television Saturday Sunrise, Mr. Ogunlesi said that the factors affecting the Nigerian economy is in line with the theme of the World Economic Forum which world leaders were discussing.

He said that all the policies which the government have brought in place for the improvement of the economy should start affecting Nigerians.

Mr. Ogunlesi stated that over 10.5 million school children are not yet in school, minimum wages are not yet paid amongst other factors, and stated that the discussion should be a national one.

He further mentioned that six out of ten fastest growing economies in the world in the last 5-6years are from Africa and Nigeria is among these countries.
