The Ogun State Government is considering an extension to the deadline for the ongoing regularisation of Certificate of Occupancy and other title documents by homeowners across the state.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun hinted on this when he led members of the State Executive Council and other government functionaries for an on-the-spot assessment tour of the Homeowners’ Charter Service centres at Otta, Ifo, Akute, Ojodu Abiodun and Ado Odo-Ota Local Government areas of the state.

He urged homeowners to seize the opportunity provided by the scheme to regularise their title documents at huge discounts and quickly too.

“Having come here today, i am seeing it for my self. Two or three things came out. One, that the people appreciate what they are doing and that they have bought-in into what we are doing and that tells us that everybody have accepted the programme,” he said.

The initial deadline was February 28.
