Governor Adams Oshiomhole has assured the people of Edo State that the State Government would continue to deliver good roads, schools, and hospitals across the 3 senatorial districts of the state, including the rural areas.
The Governor made the promise while inspecting projects in Etsako West and Etsako Central Local Government Areas of the State.
The Governor, flanked by the contractors handling the project and the State Commissioner for Works, Osarodion Ogie, visited the various project sites, starting with the newly asphalted Okotokwe road, which was an erosion prone area in Jattu, where he asked the contractor to extend the drains to check the gully.
Other places visited include a network of four roads comprising NTA Road, Zakawanu Road, constructed by the State Government to check erosion in the area.
The Governor also revealed plans to dualise the Auchi-Warake Road.
Governor Oshiomhole and his team proceeded to inspect the new bridge on Imiegba Road as well as Okpekpe where he promised to extend the roads into the village.
Residents of the various communities expressed gratitude for the projects.
