Some youths on Tuesday night attacked Chanchaga town, a suburb of Minna, Niger state capital.
The armed youths, stormed the area around 10pm attacking anybody in sight, in the process leaving many of the residents wounded.
Some of the residents who preferred to remain anonymous said the youths numbering about fifty did not take anything away from their victims but were only interested in attacking the people.
The Niger state Police Public Relations Officer, Richard Ogunche who confirmed the incidents to Channels Television on telephone stated that investigation into the incident is ongoing as no stone will be left unturned in bringing the perpetrators to book.
