The S.A on Media to the Borno State Governor, Isa Gusau has said the pressure on President Goodluck Jonathan over the 200+ girls abducted from the Girls Government School, Chibok, cannot be compared to what the governor of Borno is facing right now.Gusau

He said the families are mounting pressure on the Borno government and “there is a lot of psychological pressure that is in governance”.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Saturday breakfast programme, Sunrise, Mr. Gusau stated that there is serious community involvement in search of the girls.

He said the governor has involved everyone in the state to help in the search, the youth volunteers, traditional rulers and so much has been done in place of information gathering, “As soon as information is gathered it will be passed across to the security agencies”

He noted that the Borno state governor a day after the incident announced a N50m reward for anyone who discloses the location of the girls and has called on security agencies to request for help that would be needed in the search.

Mr. Gusau said the federal government is yet to delegate military troops to Chibok, “for operational reasons the military might decide to deploy their troops at odd times” he noted.

He urged the federal government and Borno state to work together and ensure that nothing bad is done to the girls.
