Nigerian film stars joined their counterparts from other African countries at the 2014 edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards, held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Clarion Chukwura, who won the award for Best Actor in the female category for her role in “Apaye; A Mother’s Love” led other stars, Eniola Badmus, Rita Dominic, Patience Ozokwo, Segun Arinze, Richard Mofe Damijo, Ibinabo Fiberesima, and many others who graced the occasion.

At the end of the show, South Africa carted away 9 plaques while Nollywood clinched 6.
