Bring back our girlsThe Bring Back Our Girls Campaigners have urged their members not to be distracted by the on-going twitter war against Washington-based public relations firm, Levick.
Media reports have suggested that the firm was hired by President Goodluck Jonathan to handle Public Relations job for the federal government.
However, there have been criticisms of the firm’s action through the hashtag #SomeoneTellLevick.
But the Bring Back Our Girls campaigners are less concerned about the criticisms, insisting that it will only deviate attention from the original campaign for the safe rescue of the over 200 school girls kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State.
A leader in the group, Hajiya Aishatu Yesufu urged the members to direct their social media activism towards ensuring the safe return of the Chibok girls. The #SomeoneTellLevick hashtag trended in Nigeria on Thursday generating over 3,600 tweets, according to social media analytics site, Topsy.

Nigeria’s social media users accused Levick of despising and intimidating Nigerians regarding the over 250 girls kidnapped by members of the Boko Haram sect.

Three months after the girls were kidnapped; about 217 of them are still believed to be with the Boko Haram sect.
