Ondo State Government says the decision to recruit qualified teachers in various subjects in the primary and secondary schools in the State is to fill the vacancies provided.
The State Commissioner for Education, Mr. Olajide Adejuyigbe, made this disclosure while speaking to journalists in his office in Akure, the State Capital.
He maintains that the teachers will be digitally minded new generation teachers, adding that incentives will be given to those posted to rural communities to make them committed.
He also noted that the newly established federal polytechnic in Ile-Oluji will take off very soon as plans are already ongoing to that effect.
Governor Olusegun Mimiko had ordered the recruitment of 2,000 teachers into the state’s teaching service as part of government’s efforts to create more gainful employment and improve the standard of education in the state.
