AmosunThe Government of Ogun State, South-West, Nigeria, says it is initiating a multi-billion naira new city development in Ifo, Ewekoro and Obafemi/Owode Local Governments in Ogun Central Senatorial District of the state.

This disclosure was made by the State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, while on the working tour of Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.

Addressing the huge crowds that gathered at the event, Governor Amosun, while highlighting some of the achievements of his administration in the past three years, also announced some developmental projects being initiated within the state.

As he sought for the understanding, cooperation and support of the residents, he also announced the resuscitation of the abandoned Federal Government airport located at Alamala Military Barracks in Abeokuta.

The working visit was the eighth in the series of the assessment tour by the Governor to Local Government Areas in the state.

Huge crowds converged to cheer and appreciate him for what he has been able to achieve in his rebuilding mission.

Traditional rulers were not left out of this as they pledged their loyalty and support to the administration in the task of providing development across the state.

Governor Amosun promised that his administration would remain committed to its mission of improving the frontiers of development in Ogun State as an emerging economy in the country for socioeconomic development.
