Relief materials worth millions of Naira has been presented to victims of the fire disaster which razed many buildings at the Kara cattle market in Iseri Olofin area of Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State.

Presenting the relief material which included roofing sheet, blankets, bags of cement, mattresses among other personal effects, the State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Ayo Olubori said this became necessary in order to cushion the effect of the fire disaster on those affected

Accepting the materials on behalf of the victims, the Secretary to the chairman of the cattle market commended the government for the gesture promising that these would be judiciously put to use ,to ameliorate the loss suffered during the unfortunate incident

Considering the nature and frequency of fire incidents in this particular market, it is suggested that residents of this area should continue to take precautions that would ensure an end to this unfortunate incident.
