The Kwara State Chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared its support for the candidature of Sen. Simeon Ajibola as the party’s governorship candidate in next year’s governorship election.
A statement signed by the Assistant Publicity Secretary of the party, Femi Yusuf, noted that since other governorship aspirants have openly declared their support his (Ajibola) candidacy, it restated the party’s resolve to work with the candidate and urged party supporters to disregard any rumour or speculation contrary to that.
The party noted that it stands with the result of the primary held on the December 11, 2014 which produced Senator Ajibola and appealed to members to remain calm and support the candidate of the party.
