Fourteen suspects have been paraded by the Ogun State Police Command for various crimes including a 35-year old dismissed and eight months pregnant police officer who specialises in duping unsuspected members of the general public of their vehicles
The suspects were paraded on Wednesday at the state headquarters of the special anti robbery squad located along the Presidential Boulvard in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The command also paraded a 22 years old leader of a seven-man armed robbery gang along the Sagamu/Ore expressway.
But of interest was a 35 year old who was dismissed by the police for certificate forgery and eight months old pregnant corporal, hanging an assistant superintendent of police rank who dupes unsuspecting members of the public of their vehicles
While soliciting the continued support and cooperation of the residents of the state in providing the police useful information that could lead to arrest of criminals, the State Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, however asked members of the public to be weary of crminal parading themselves as officers of the law.
