The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Tuesday said it generated over N9.2 million domestically and $15.3 million internationally in 2014 alone.
This is according to the data circulated by the Comptroller-General of Immigrations, Mr David Parradang.
He said that the service is working towards generating more funds for government with the introduction of its new data centre that would automatically track Nigerian passports and payments around the globe.
The Service also launched Security Bollards and Customers Queuing Systems, facilities the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, said would enhance the services’ internal monitoring and control systems towards meeting global standards.
