al-makura, Nasarawa State

al-makuraGovernor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has flagged off the Giza-Kakarko Road from Keana Local Government as part of his re-election campaign activities.

The commissioning of projects and inauguration by the Governor as part of his campaign themed ” Seeing Is Believing” is believed to be yielding return as key members of the opposition joined the APC.

Applauding the Governor for his unparalleled performance in office, a former governorship aspirant in the last PDP primary election, Musa Hussan, said that his decision to join the APC was because of Gov. Al-Makura’s politics of inclusion.

Mr Hussan, who decamped from the PDP to the APC, assured the party of his total commitment going into the election.

On the likely effect of the election postponement on the party’s fortune, Gov. Al-Makura remained upbeat about the APC’s chances.

The support base of the APC in Nasarawa State has continued to swell with the commissioning of new projects and the presentation of staff of office to traditional rulers. It is believed that this would help the re-election bid of Governor Al-Makura.
