GROUPAhead of the general elections which was recently rescheduled, the project coordinator of Kogi Youth Arise Group ( KYAG), Yahaya Bello has called on youths to shun violence and rancor before, during and after the elections.

Mr Bello stated this as the All Progressive Congress (APC) launched the Kogi Youths Arise presidential election campaign for Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo.

The Kafas multi purpose hall in Lokoja, venue of the launch, was filled to capacity with youths and some party chieftains drawn from the 25 constituencies in the State.

Their mission was to appoint youths who will take the message of the presidential flag bearer of the APC to every nook and cranny of the State.

While inaugurating the group, the coordinator  of the group said the unprecedented support given to APC presidential candidate would be fully justified.

He called on party loyalists to all arise through the use of their Permanent Voter Card (PVC), to influence the positive change needed in Nigeria.

The group was duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the agenda to make sure that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari wins election in Kogi State beyond 90 per cent.

The group has members across the 21 Local Governments in the State with the aim of canvassing support for Buhari.
