The two leading political parties in Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections in Nasarawa State, have disagreed over the outcome of the Nasarawa south senatorial and House of Representatives results.
While the Minister of Information, Senator Patricia Akwashiki led the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to lodge complaints about the results declared for the zone, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate who was declared winner, said that, there was nothing to disagree about.
Results for the Nasarawa south senatorial district and the Lafi/Obi federal constituency have continued to raise tension as party agents at the collation center at the Sani Abacha youth centre, engaged in shouting match while collation was on-going on Sunday night.
