The Borno State government has allocated 432 apartments to victims of insurgency in Ngarnam community of Borno State.
The affected residents had their houses destroyed by the Boko Haram insurgents.
A committee appointed by the state government said that the estate known as the Yerwa Peace Estate was constructed at the cost of about 700 million Naira.
The beneficiaries were also screened by officials of the state before the apartments were allocated to them at no cost to them.
One of the beneficiaries, Mohammed Umar said he was eager to get a decent home.
Meanwhile, the state government has promised to continue to do more for the people to enable the displaced people return to their normal life.
