Team Rivers have emerged champion of the Fifth National Female Cricket Championship by beating team FCT in a keenly contested game played at the Abuja National Stadium.
In the third place game, team Anambra outplayed team Kaduna to clinch the position while team Ogun finished fifth.
The Sponsor of the championship, Mr John Abebe and the President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Emeka Onyeama expressed satisfaction with the performance of the teams.
Mr Abebe further said that female cricket was taking its pride of place in the country.
