The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, South-East Nigeria, Dr Alex Otti and his wife, Priscilla have been accredited at ward 5, unit 17, Ehina-Gury, Umuru in Isiala-Ngwa Local Government Area (LGA).
Dr Otti raised concern over the failure the card readers, fake ballot papers, reported cases of snatching of ballot boxes, and alleged harassment of voters by suspected hoodlums of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
These cases were reported to have taken place in Aba North, Aba South, Osisioma, Bende, Ohafia and Umuahia North Local Government Areas.
Still in the APGA governorship candidate’s ward, the accreditation exercise started early enough, and it went on smoothly.
However, polling officers are using the incident form to accredit voters who could not be verified by the card reader.
