Cross River State Governor-elect, Senator Ben Ayade, has called on Nigeria’s President-elect to govern Nigeria without party sentiments when he assumes office.
The Governor-elect, who was speaking to journalists in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, urged General Muhammadu Buhari to carry the opposition parties along.
According to Senator Ayade, the time of politics is over and Nigeria has come to a point in its history when governance should not be about party sentiments but about service.
He also noted that they need the federal structure to succeed, adding that Nigeria should not be divided on party lines.
