The Nigeria Police Force has reiterated its commitment to prosecute all persons found culpable of electoral offences.
In an interview with Channels Television in Abuja the nation’s capital, the Police Spokesman, Emmanuel Ojukwu, commended the police and the electorate for their peaceful conduct during and after the supplementary elections conducted in some states.
Mr Ojukwu also said the lessons learnt during the 2015 elections would be used in future elections.
He, however, assured Nigerians and other residents in the country that the Nigeria Police Force would continue to do its best to maintain peace and security.
