In his message to the congregation, the former Minister of Sports admonished those in authority to provide good governance and basic amenities to their followers and also called on Muslims and non-Muslims to champion the course of development where ever they find themselves.

Speakers after speakers, also appealed for closer interaction between leaders and their followers, noting that everyone must give account of their actions or inaction someday.
