tinubuFormer Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, has debunked reports that he has fallen apart with President Muhammadu Buhari because he could not get what he demanded from the party.

Tinubu denied the reports in an interview with State House correspondents shortly after joining some All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders for the breaking of Ramadan fast with the President.

The former governor also broke his silence on the leadership crisis in the National Assembly, saying he backed the position of the party and the President on the matter.

While saying the party was supreme, Tinubu said that leadership and followers must be disciplined.

He said that the party understood what Nigerians wanted because the mandate given the APC was because of its manifesto.

The leader of the APC also threw away the remarks from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that the Buhari administration is too slow, saying the government cannot clean the 16-years ‎mess of the PDP in 30 days.

Tinubu described the APC as the armoured personnel carrier, saying it represented the diversity of Nigeria.

He thanked President Buhari for the opportunity of breaking fast with him and bringing together people from various backgrounds regardless of religious affiliations.

President Muhammadu ‎Buhari has also appealed to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to drop their differences and their influences both in the party and the country in order for the party to achieve its campaigns manifestos.
