Speaking at a gathering on Tuesday, Governor Ikpeazu expressed concerns over the devastation of flood at the Ariaria market and some other parts of Aba.
The Governor hinted on the specific interest and need for the project contractors to focus majorly on construction of the drainages, in order to know the exact point where the floods are been channeled to during the rainy season.
He noted that new policies on the maintenance of public facilities in the state had been put in place to stop the bastardization of public facilities.
Governor Ikpeazu also cautioned that the era of washing cars on the roads is over in the state and urged the contractors to speed up work.
