The caucus made this position clear while meeting with Journalists in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The Chairman, Media Committee of the PDP caucus, Honourable Rima Shawulu, said the party was not against the probe of corrupt officials, but that the exercise must not exclude members.
Mr Shawulu also observed that there were many members of the PDP who defected to the APC, saying there should be no waiver for corruption investigation.
“We support the agenda of Mr President and the Federal Government to fight corruption and we will back him to recover funds on proven cases.
“Our position as a political party is that the President does not have the powers by himself to draw a line that some crimes should be investigated, while others are not to be touched,” he said.
Mr Shawulu further emphasised that corruption should be fought holistically; “whether the offenders are in the PDP or in the APC, there should be no waivers on corruption investigations”.
