Kenyan_JusticeChief Justice of Kenya, Dr Willy Mutunga, has asked the Nigerian government and its Kenyan counterpart to be cautious of its terrorism campaign.

Dr Mutung, who gave the advice at a meeting with the Executive Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Prof Bem Angwe, in Abuja noted that in ridding the nation of terrorists, the rights of innocent people should also be considered to avoid criticism from human rights bodies.

He also wants government of both countries to fashion out ways of punishing corrupt politicians who are bent on sapping the economy of their nations.

According to him, terrorism in both countries thrive because of corrupt officials whose interest is on how to enrich themselves as well as sponsor acts of terrorism.
