Home-based-eaglesThe home-based Super Eagles on Tuesday began preparations for a CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso in Port Harcourt, with 17 players in camp.

Super Eagles Assistant Coach, Salisu Yusuf, led the team’s first training session which was held in morning. Another training will also hold in the evening.

The players already in camp include Gbolahan Salami, Solomon Kwambe, Osas Okoro, Stephen Eze, Bature Yaro, Tunde Adeniji and Abdulrazaq Aliyu.

Abia Warriors forward, Chisom Chikatara, has replaced Godwin Obaje of Wikki Tourists.

The team faces South Africa U-23 team in a test game on Tuesday, October 13 in Port Harcourt, ahead of the qualifier on October 18.
