The Chairman of the English Football Association (FA), Mr. Greg Dyke, has criticized an interview given by suspended FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, suggesting the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups was “fixed”.
The 79-year-old Blatter said he was a “ball in a big political power game” involving the United States and Russia.
He also criticized UEFA’s Michel Platini for playing a part in attacks on him.
Mr. Dyke said Blatter’s comments threw doubt over the way Russia and Qatar were chosen to host the next two World Cups.
