The Ogun State Government has commenced asphalt laying on the failed portion of the Lagos-Ibadan express being repaired by the state government.
This is to demonstrate its seriousness in ending the daily stress being experienced by road users and residents along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
A visit to the place revealed that an appreciable length has been covered in the ongoing palliative measure initiated by the state government
Supervising the exercise, the State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr Lekan Adegbite, said that the project would be completed on record time.
He, however, debunked insinuations that the palliative measure is being carried out by a popular church along the expressway.
