The Abia State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Umeh Kalu, has called on those faulting the tribunal judgments to refrain from it and seek redress in the Appeal Court.
Mr Kalu condemned the actions of political parties who alleged that the tribunal justices were biased, describing it as an ungodly and unruly move to misinform the public.
He urged all those who felt that the tribunal judgment went contrary to their wish to proceed to the Appeal Court and keep their supporters away from causing damages.
The Attorney-General warned that the rule of law against such actions would be applied.
The leadership of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) had claimed that the judges of the Abia State governorship tribunal were bias.
APGA maintained that they were prepared to fight to recover their mandate, using every available means in the judiciary.
Members of the legal team of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had described the verdict as legal, standard and arrived at after due analysis of the evidences and witnesses brought before the tribunal by the petitioner and respondents.
They, therefore, called on the APGA to refrain from such malicious propaganda.
